Bridge for Intensive Care Units

Silbermann's Bridge system is
designed especially for ICUs  
and provides a supply of
medical gases, electric sockets,
communication, grounding,
and other supplies required
for the patient & the medical staff
in the ICU bed or room.


Our system is modular and provides
mounting solutions for all types of
required medical equipment such as
monitors, ventilator fusion &
syringe pumps, vacuum therapy, etc.

The bridge includes:

  • Two drop tubes per bed which are
    anchored to the concrete ceiling 

    with decorative ceiling covers.

    Feeding of electric cable wires,
    medical gas hoses, communication
    and other supplies to the bridge

    is done through these tubes.
  • A horizontal beam (2.5 meters long)
    per bed is anchored to the drop
    tubes and includes: two gliders
    (per bed) 
    onto which two carriers
    are connected; dry and wet.
  • The dry side carrier includes two
    shelves with two integrated S.S.
    hanging rails 10x25 mm
    on each shelf.
  • The wet side carrier includes:
    two S.S. poles 1m. long with 3 S.S.
    hooks on each pole.
  • The bridge is made of extruded aluminum profiles,
    White powder-coated color Ral 9016 and a decorative colored strip.
  • Feeding of medical gas is done through
    drop tubes with flexible hoses.

  • Max outlets per bed:
    • Medical gas outlets up to 24
    • Electric sockets up to 40
    • Communication sockets (preparation only) up to 6.
  • Movement of carriers:
    • Linear movement up to 60cm of each carrier
    • Rotation 360° (free rotation) for each carrier
  • Braking of movement:
    • Linear movement by the manual brake.
    • Rotational movement by the frictional brake.

    • Meets requirements of NFPA 99c
    • ISO 7396 European standard
    • Carries CE Mark for medical equipment – CE0123
    • G-01 Israeli standard.
